Negative Self talk and Anger Management

Anger and negative self-talk.

“I am so stupid – no wonder I never can get ahead at work.” How many times have you said this to yourself? How many times have you put yourself down in front of others at home or at work? The old cliché that ‘if you don’t love yourself, no one else will’ must be brought up at this point. No truer words were ever spoken. You have to have regard for yourself and if you tell yourself each day that you are stupid, ugly, hopeless or lazy (or anything negative) then you will start to see yourself that way and so will others.

Do yourself a favor and give yourself positive affirmations throughout the day instead of negative talk. This will also help to reduce anger. You will feel better about yourself, more confident, and better able to communicate. Anger management classes are a good way to learn positive self-talk.
