In a candid letter describing a specific struggle to keep this emotion in check, the writer expresses a sentiment that countless others have felt.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am 21 and I have an anger problem,&#8221; the writer, identified as &#8220;Consumed with Anger,&#8221;&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.stltoday.com\/lifestyles\/relationships-and-special-occasions\/columns\/dear-abby\/student-needs-help-with-anger-management\/article_889735ac-63e3-5623-bbb7-947f6042fa48.html\">explains<\/a>. &#8220;Sometimes when my friends, roommates or my boyfriend do something that annoys me, I feel so mad that I can&#8217;t concentrate on anything I have to get done.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The writer goes on to explain that they&nbsp;are have resorted to violence in the past to relieve their rage &#8211; in the form of punching a wall.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Is it normal to get this mad?
