According to the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bleacherreport.com\/articles\/1633369-carlos-zambrano-signs-contract-with-atlantic-league-long-island-ducks\">Bleacher Report<\/a>, the player is in the process of building himself back up after his highly publicized problems with anger management made him a volatile choice for any starting lineup.<\/p>\n<p>After three televised tantrums during which Zambrano lashed out at his fellow teammates and destroyed a Gatorade cooler in the Chicago Cubs dugout, the pitcher was required to complete\u00a0<a class=\"dnautolink\" href=\"https:\/\/masteringanger.com\/staging\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">anger management classes<\/a>\u00a0at\u00a0the behest of his managers.\u00a0 He opened up to NBC Sports about the transformative effect this program had.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The problem I have to solve is when I get upset on the field. I think my problem is after I cross those lines. When somebody makes an error or I make an error, that&#8217;s my problem [&#8230;] Off the field, I consider myself a nice guy,&#8221; Zambrano told the news outlet in\u00a0 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Now, the Bleacher Report states that Zambrano has signed a contract with the Long Island Ducks in the Atlantic League.
