A Sister Bay, Wisconsin, woman will have to complete\u00a0anger management classes<\/a>\u00a0among other probationary measures in order to stay out of jail after\u00a0assaulting a number of police officers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to The Green Bay Press Gazette, a local news source, 40-year-old Kirsten Fletcher had first been arrested on January 16 for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest\u00a0after officers arrived at her condo on a noise complaint call. Fletcher was released with a cash bond on the condition that she not consume any alcohol. Nearly a month later, officers returned to her residence\u00a0for another noise complaint report, where “she admitted to having a little bit of alcohol.”<\/p>\n

Since she was in violation of her bond, Fletcher was taken into custody, during which time she began digging her fingernails into the officers’ arms, drawing blood, and grabbing on to stair railings to keep from leaving. She also attempted to bite one of the officers on her way into the patrol car.<\/p>\n

Fletcher pleaded no contest to two felony counts of battery to a law enforcement officer and two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. An initial sentence of 60 days in prison was suspended in favor of two years of probation, including\u00a0court ordered anger management<\/a>, alcohol counseling, sobriety and 40 hours of community service. Her driver’s license was also revoked for 18 months.<\/p>\n
